Muscat: Zubair Company recently celebrated the graduation of 13 employees, who have successfully completed “Etimad”, the national leadership development program aimed at enhancing Omani skills for middle and senior management positions in the private sector. .

Etimad is one of the programs resulting from the recommendations of the Labor Market and Employment Laboratory of the National Program for the Improvement of Economic Diversification, “Tanfeedh”. The graduation ceremony took place in the presence of Al Zubair Mohammad Al Zubair, Vice President of The Zubair Corporation, as well as the presence of several members of the senior management of the company.

The graduation is part of The Zubair Corporation’s commitment to develop Omani skills and enable private sector growth. Through its participation in this program, the Company aims to prepare executives for the second and first positions of The Zubair Corporation and its subsidiaries, in various disciplines, to ensure the availability of qualified Omani nationals for managerial positions. This celebration follows the recent Virtual Ministry of Labor graduation ceremony that was held for the first batch of the program, with the participation of around 247 graduates from various private sector companies.

Through a set of programs aimed at improving a diverse set of skills and different types of work, The Zubair Corporation seeks to empower Omani youth and train them in various professions to enhance their future careers. Through their participation in the “Etimad” program, overseen by the Ministry of Labor, the Company aims to strengthen national skills and prepare them for the required leadership skills that qualify them to spearhead growth within the sector. private. The program consists of three main themes, namely leadership from within, leadership by position, leadership through change and cooperation.
