Which smartphone accessories are worth buying?

The market is flooded with all kinds of smartphone accessories. Everything from silicone cases to large batteries. You probably don’t need all of these accessories for your iPhone or Android phone. Which ones are worth having?

It’s no mystery why there are so many smartphone accessories on the market these days. Basically, everyone has an iPhone or Android phone in their pocket, and there are plenty of companies hoping to sell you more stuff to go along with it.

Let’s start with the most common smartphone accessory: a case. Some people are anti-case, others use multiple cases. While cases aren’t as protective as you might think, they can serve a valuable purpose.

I think there are several reasons why it is worth buying a case for your phone. First of all, a case offers a certain level of protection. Even a slim tpu case will protect your phone from scratches, and a Otterbox can save him from more serious damage.

However, cases are not limited to protection. Some phones are made with slippery glass or metal backs. A simple case can make it much easier to grip. You can also add a personal touch to your phone with a case. Make it reflect your personal style.

Do you absolutely need a case? Of course not, but I don’t think you’ll regret having one.

Charging cables

Your smartphone probably came with a charging cable in the box. Obviously, this is a pretty essential accessory to have. Another essential accessory to have is After charging cables.

Charging is a necessary part of using a smartphone. Most people charge their phone overnight, but you might also need a little extra juice every now and then before bed. This is where it’s nice to have extra charging cables.

You can have a charging cable next to your bed, near the couch, in your backpack, and your car. They are usually quite cheap and it is much easier to distribute them than to move the same from place to place.

The 3-in-1 charging cable retracts into a compact size, making it perfect to take with you. It can charge devices with USB-C, Lighting and microUSB.

Batteries

We’ve covered the essentials; now it’s time to move on to the more optional accessories. While certainly not a necessity, I think a good battery is something every smartphone user should have.

Why? Well, you never really know when you might be without power. A battery can be a lifesaver in some situations. Maybe the power to your house went out before you could charge your phone, or you’re stuck somewhere with no outlet.

The key to having a battery ready for these situations is to keep it charged. A wall charger/portable charger combo is great because it can stay plugged in for regular charging, but it also has its own battery. You’ll be glad you have one when you need it.

Wireless headphones

Whether we like it or not, the headphone jack is a dying feature in modern smartphones. iPhones and many Android phones no longer include it. This makes wireless headphones an unfortunate necessity if you want to listen to music or podcasts on your phone.

It’s not have be unhappy, however. Wireless headphones offer a few advantages over wired headphones. You have more freedom of movement since you don’t need to have your phone strapped to your body. The charging cases are also much neater than a tangle of cables.

If you think wireless headphones aren’t a worthwhile accessory, you might just need to find the right pair. Amazon is full of cheap wireless headphones that just aren’t very good. A pair that fits your ears well and sounds good can make all the difference.

These four accessories will dramatically improve your smartphone experience (and the case is probably the only one you need to change with a new phone). Other types of accessories don’t have the same general utility, but they can be useful in certain situations. For example, a pop socket may be essential for people with small hands or limited dexterity.

Although it may seem that there are a lot of useless accessories on the store shelves, some of them are really useful. Your phone is probably one of the most used objects in your life. Make sure it’s the best it can be.
