the smartphone is already certified before its launch at the end of the year
A report from MySmartPrice has just revealed that new Xiaomi devices have been spotted on the Russian CEE certification site with model numbers 2210132G and 2210133G. These devices would belong to the future Xiaomi 13 series, which should arrive at the end of the year.
Alongside them, two new mid-range Redmi Note 12 smartphones have been spotted in the database. These carry the model numbers 22101316G and 22101316UG. It’s been almost a year now since Xiaomi launched its Redmi Note 11s, so it’s no wonder to see successors coming soon.
When could the Xiaomi 13 be launched?
Xiaomi presented its Xiaomi 12X, 12 and 12 Pro in China on December 28, on the same date as the Xiaomi Mi 11 in 2020, so it is expected that the new generation will also arrive at the end of the year. However, since the Xiaomi 13 has already been certified, we could well see Xiaomi advance its usual schedule.
We know that Qualcomm is preparing to launch its next high-end SoC, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, in mid-November, while the chip usually arrived in early December in previous years. Xiaomi could therefore launch its smartphone from the end of November or the beginning of December 2022.
Anyway, the smartphone would only arrive in China, since we will have to wait several more months before the new series comes out with us. Expect, another smartphone from the Chinese manufacturer has also been spotted ahead of time, the Xiaomi 12T Pro. The device we gave you an exclusive first look at a few days ago has appeared on the Google Play Console with its Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 and 12 GB of RAM, which confirms that the launch is imminent.
