Sony shocks fans, forces ‘leaked’ image of Andrew Garfield to be removed
For months – and months and months – Marvel fans have speculated that the MCU’s conclusion Spider Man trilogy, Spider-Man: No Path Home, will open the “Spider-Verse” wide with the return of former “Spider-Men” Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield alongside trilogy star Tom Holland.

Although Holland and Garfield, in particular, have denied the two stars’ involvement in the project, reports persist – and some eagle-eyed fans even suspect an editing error in the second. No way home trailer proves the duo will be making cameos.
Now Sony Pictures has reportedly forced the removal of a new allegedly “leaked” image that features Garfield in a No way home scene.

Although Garfield – as usual – said the video had been “Photoshoped” and he was “done” with the Spider Man franchise as a whole, the fact that Sony would have been involved in the removal of that specific image has convinced many fans that this is in fact a real leak.
For the most part, Sony’s Marvel Studios and Kevin Feige have let it “leak” No way home slide of images, including a previous video of Garfield that the creator ultimately admitted to “making over lunch.”

Debunked leaks have been rampant, but the latter situation is certainly the most intriguing, given that Sony stepped in to force the photographs to be removed. As one article noted:
However, another image involving Garfield has been revealed online. This time, it shows The Amazing Spider-Man actor alongside Maguire and Holland in full Spider-Man gear. Since Sony removed the footage, many believe it was in fact real.

For now, all Marvel Cinematic Universe fans can do is wait and see how many amazing cameos No way home actually appears when the film hits theaters on December 17, 2021.
